"Isles of Shoals:the Eternal Sound of the Sea” explores the lore and legends of an archipelago off the New Hampshire/Maine coast through the writings of poet, Celia Thaxter, who grew up there and author, Nathaniel Hawthorne, who came for a summer visit.

A short slide lecture on Portsmouth NH’s anniversary celebrations followed by an adaptation of Alice Brown’s short story, “The Flat-Iron Lot,” presented in commemoration of America 250.
