How to find the Pontine Theatre

From the Center of Portsmouth (Market Square). 
Proceed south on Congress Street through the second traffic light (Maplewood Avenue--Public Library on the Left). The street name changes to Islington and becomes a two-way street. Proceed through two more traffic lights (at Cabot and then Bartlett Streets). 2/10ths of a mile past Bartlett Street, turn Right into the driveway for West End Studio Theatre (the sign post also includes listings for 1001 Mill Apartments, National Discount Mattress, and Auger Builders). The drive is located immediately after Chameleon Group and just before Hovey's Audio Visual.

From I-95 Exit 5, Route 4/16. 
At the Traffic Circle, take Route One By-Pass North. Immediately take ramp to exit uphill toward the Bickford sign. At top of ramp, turn Right onto Woodbury Avenue and follow around a sharp curve to the Left. Woodbury ends in one block at a stop sign. Turn Right onto Bartlett Street and follow around a sharp curve to the Left and under a railroad overpass. Bartlett ends in one block at a traffic light. Turn Right onto Islington Street. Proceed 2/10ths of a mile, turn Right into the driveway for West End Studio Theatre (the sign post also includes listings for 1001 Mill Apartments, National Discount Mattress, and Auger Builders). The drive is located immediately after Chameleon Group and just before Hovey's Audio Visual

From Route 33
After road narrows to two lanes, turn Left onto Islington Street (look for sign directing you to Downtown Portsmouth) . Follow 8/10ths of a mile, turn Left into the driveway for West End Studio Theatre (the sign post also includes listings for 1001 Mill Apartments, National Discount Mattress, and Auger Builders). The drive is immediately after Hovey's Photo Supply and before Chameleon Group.
